PERMIT TO CARRY The Minnesota Personal Protection Act allows qualified individuals to apply for and receive a permit to carry a pistol in the state. Detailed information and an application form can be found at the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension's website at this link: Minnesota Personal Protection Act. After completing and printing the form on the BCA website, individuals must submit the completed application IN PERSON to the Cook County Law Enforcement Center.
