Human Services Board

About the Board

The Human Services Board includes the 5 county commissioners and the chair and vice chair of the PHHS Advisory Committee. The board has authority to administer all public health and human services programs.   

Some of the Board’s specific functions are: set policy; appropriate funds and approve expenditures, monitor agency progress toward outcomes; assure adequate staffing for program delivery and advocate for changes to meet the needs of the local community.
