Financial Services

Financial Services works with individuals and families to determine eligibility for nutrition assistance, cash assistance and Minnesota health care programs for residents of Cook County.

Nutrition Assistance

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) program is a county-run, federal program that helps low income Minnesotans get the food they need for sound nutrition and well balanced meals. Those who need help right away could receive a same-day interview and have benefits issued within 5 days.

Cash Assistance

Short and long term programs that provide supplemental cash assistance to address basic living expenses.

The Eligibility Screening Tool, provided by Bridge to Benefits, allows you to see if you or someone else may be eligible for public programs.
